If there’s one thing I love, it’s discovering cafés that instantly put me in a good mood—and Inara Café at Ayer 8, Putrajaya did exactly that. It wasn’t even a planned “content day.” I was simply meeting my former boss and a few colleagues for a casual lunch, expecting the usual catch-up session. However, the moment I arrived, the whole vibe shifted. You know that feeling when you walk into a place, and everything—from the décor to the smell of freshly baked pastries—just quietly whispers,
“Hey, you’re going to enjoy this”
That was Inara.
The afternoon turned into more than just a meal. It became one of those cozy gatherings where conversations flow easily, laughter fills the air, and you suddenly realise how much you’ve missed the people around you. What was meant to be a simple lunch quickly turned into one of those unexpectedly wholesome afternoons that remind you why good company really does make food taste better.
Whether you’re heading there for a celebration, a slow afternoon with friends, or just some much-needed “me time,” this café doesn’t just serve food—it serves vibes. And trust me, once you step inside, you’ll understand why people keep coming back.
✅ A Beautiful Café
The moment you step inside Inara Café, you’re greeted by a burst of greenery, bright accents, and that soft café glow that instantly calms your soul. Plants fill the space in the most effortless way, making the entire café feel alive and welcoming. The wooden tables, cushioned chairs, and the little buckets of flowers scattered here and there add just the right amount of charm.
And let’s not forget the smell—that heavenly mix of fresh pastries and good coffee in the air. It’s the kind of scent that makes you want to settle in, get comfy, and maybe even stay longer than you originally planned.
Aesthetically? Chef’s kiss. Every corner looks like it was designed with Instagram in mind. Whether you’re into warm minimalism, cozy café shots, or cute flatlays, Inara Café is an urban oasis perfect for photos and for simply slowing down. The vibe is calm, refreshing, and surprisingly grounding.

✅ Perfect For Birthday Celebrations
Inara Café knows how to make celebrations special. If you’re there for a birthday, you’ll be treated to a joyful birthday song playing in the background as the staff brings out your cake, adding to the festive atmosphere—simple, sincere, and heartwarming. Their selection of cakes and pastries is wide, so whether you like something rich and creamy or something light and fluffy, you’ll easily find the perfect treat for the celebration.

✅ Plenty Of Choices On The Menu
One thing I love about Inara Café is how varied the menu is. They’ve got something for every mood—from local classics like Nasi Kerabu to comforting Western dishes like pasta.
I went for the creamy tom yum pasta, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was delicious. Creamy, tangy, rich, and balanced, with that unmistakable Tom Yum kick. The portion was generous enough to keep me full and happy. I also stole a bite of the Nasi Kerabu from someone at the table, and honestly… one of the best I’ve had in a while. Fresh, flavourful, and perfectly done.

✅ Dessert! Dessert!

✅ The Friendly Staff
A café can be beautiful and have great food, but the people working there can make or break the whole experience—and at Inara, the staff truly shine. They’re warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, even when the café gets busy during lunch hours. They check in, they smile, they make you feel welcome without hovering.
That cheerful energy really elevates the entire vibe. You walk in as a customer, but you leave feeling taken care of.
✅ Great Value
Inara Café offers excellent value for money. The prices are affordable, especially given the generous portions and delicious food. The overall dining experience is top-notch, providing a perfect blend of quality and affordability. Here, you can enjoy a fantastic meal in a great atmosphere without worrying about your budget. It’s a place where you get more than just a meal—you get great value.
