As a new reader, I’m sure you’re curious to learn a bit more about me. 😊

Well, my name is Hani.

I also go by Along, Kim, or Auri (yup, I have many nicknames).

Born on June 23 and raised in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. Currently based in Kuala Lumpur, where I share my home with a very handsome American Shorthair cat named Jack. 🐈

I’ve never been married and don’t have kids, but I do have four younger brothers—Yes, I’m the eldest, and of course, the cool sister 😎

I work in finance. I spent some time in modelling when I was younger, but I ultimately chose a different path, focusing on my well-being.

Solo travel has been a passion of mine since 2016. There’s something empowering about exploring new places on my own, and it’s a journey I’m still very much in love with. 

With a profound love for words, you’ll often find me writing. I also enjoy diving into horror genres, listening to music, and learning about ancient history, and I’m an avid Formula One fan. 

What is Wanderhoney?

Wanderhoney is my creative outlet, born from my passion for travel and personal growth. It’s a platform for me to express myself freely and share my personal growth and travel experiences—what I see and what I want to see in the world—to inspire others to explore new places, try new things, embrace different cultures, and prioritize self-love. It’s about teaching and sharing what I know and what I have experienced. I hope that it will continue to be a space where I can share my experiences and connect with like-minded people.

As a non-native English speaker, I constantly strive to enhance my language skills, and my blog provides me with an opportunity to practice and refine my writing and communication abilities, helping me to achieve my goal of becoming more fluent and articulate in English.
