UK Farm Kluang Johor: A Unique Weekend Agro Farm Experience in Malaysia

Have you ever heard of UK Farm Agro Resort in Johor? I’ll be honest—I hadn’t either until I went down the Google rabbit hole looking for a unique weekend escape. Among the search results, I spotted random photos of people posing with sheep, and for a second, it looked like something straight out of New Zealand or Australia. That’s when curiosity got the better of me.

So yes, I technically traveled all the way from Kuala Lumpur to Johor just to meet some goats and sheep. Sounds a little wild? Maybe. Worth it? Absolutely.

📍 What to Expect at UK Farm

UK Farm is not your average petting zoo. It’s actually one of the largest agro farms in Malaysia, and they’ve done a great job turning it into a full-on farm experience. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll find:

🐐 Goat & Sheep Farm

The stars of the show! You can feed the goats, watch them being milked, and even cuddle baby goats (this was definitely the highlight for me 🥹). They’re super friendly and always excited when visitors bring them food.

🦆 Mini Zoo & Other Animal Parks

Beyond goats, there’s a mini zoo that includes:

  • Duck and chicken farm

  • Ostrich enclosure

  • Deer park

  • Rabbit garden

Each section allows you to interact with the animals, and you’ll be provided with food to feed them along the tour.

🌿 Fruit & Hydroponic Farms

You’ll also get to see how the farm grows fruits and vegetables using hydroponic systems. It’s a nice educational touch and adds more variety to the visit.

🏕️ Jakun Village Experience

This cultural section gives you a glimpse into the lifestyle of the Orang Asli Jakun community, complete with traditional houses and tools. A lovely addition that gives the farm more depth beyond just animals.

🥛 Goat Milk Processing Center

Curious about how fresh goat milk is processed? You’ll see how it’s done here, and you can even stock up on fresh goat milk or goat-milk-based products like yogurt or soap at the gift shop.

How much are the tickets?

Here’s what you need to know about the entrance fees:

  • Bus Tour (Most popular)
    • Adults: RM47.70

    • Children: RM37.10

    • Includes food for the animals and a guided tour of all main attractions.

  • Private Horse Cart Tour

    • RM190.80 (off-season)

    • A more private, scenic option if you’re feeling extra fancy.

🏡 Want to Stay Overnight?

Yup, they have their own UK Farm Resort on-site. If you’re thinking of a short staycation with a farm twist, this is a peaceful spot to wake up to the sounds of nature (and probably a goat or two).

My Honest Review

I went in expecting free-roaming goats in dreamy fields (thank you, misleading Google images 😅), but the reality was slightly different. Still, I wasn’t disappointed.

The goats were adorable, and I loved every second of feeding them with bottled milk. Holding a baby goat? 10/10 experience. It was wholesome, calming, and surprisingly therapeutic.

The full tour lasted about 2 to 3 hours—long enough to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. Just a tip: bring your own water and wear a hat or sunscreen, because it gets hot. You’re out in the open for most of the tour.

There’s also an on-site restaurant where I had lunch after the tour. The food was satisfying, and it’s nice to know you don’t have to leave the farm to find a good meal.

For a one-time experience, especially with kids or animal lovers, UK Farm is absolutely worth the visit. It’s educational, interactive, and perfect if you’re looking to escape the city for something different and refreshing.
Until then. X, Hani
