We were lucky.
The restaurant wasn’t too busy during our visit, so we didn’t have to wait long for a table. Luciano’s is often packed, and with only ten tables available, you might face a long queue if you visit during lunch hours. They operate on a first-come, first-served basis and close when they run out of what’s on the menu, so be prepared to try your luck or come back another time.
The staff needs a lot of improvement.
While I don’t remember much about the lady at the counter, I appreciated seeing the chef working diligently in the kitchen. Despite being busy, he looked up to acknowledge us as we walked by. I smiled back at him, and he seemed friendly. However, the waitress who served us seemed distant and unfriendly. The way she placed the menu on the table felt impolite, and she didn’t smile at the customers, which clashed with the warm, laid-back vibe of the place.
It has a laid-back atmosphere.
Luciano’s has a laid-back atmosphere with its simple décor, perfectly capturing the essence of street food. The aroma of freshly baked pizza fills the air, creating a bustling environment that made our early dating days unforgettable. This hidden gem brings back memories of laughter, connection, and a shared love for great food. I look forward to returning. If you’re in Kuala Lumpur and craving authentic Italian street food, Luciano’s is worth a visit.
